Tajikistan: Trans-Alay Range

The Trans-Alay Range is a mountain range located in Central Asia, primarily in the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan. The range stretches for approximately 900 kilometers from the Fergana Valley in the west to the western end of the Pamir Mountains in the east. The highest point of the Trans-Alay Range is Lenin Peak, standing at 7,134 meters (23,406 feet) above sea level.
