Tajikistan: The Pamir Highway (around Khorog)

This image was taken on the Pamir highway around the town of Khorog. The Pamir Highway, also known as the M41, is one of the highest roads in the world, stretching over a distance of approximately 1,200 kilometers through the Pamir Mountains of Central Asia. The road connects the cities of Osh in Kyrgyzstan with Khorog in Tajikistan and continues through Afghanistan, reaching the Chinese border at the end. Find it here.
